*Please note: This trek is physically demanding and recommended for experienced hikers. Camping equipment for the trek is provided and included in the cost of your trip. A sleeping bag and mat are also provided. You may leave the majority of your belongings in Puerto Natales. While hiking you will only need to carry your daypack with supplies for the duration of each day.
**Please note: The luggage restrictions for all Aerolineas Argentinas flights are 15kg for checked baggage and 5kg for carry-ons. No organic food is allowed as Patagonia is a protected area. Bags will be checked upon arrival in El Calafate.
Please note: As per the land operator’s policy, travel insurance is required in order to participate in this escorted trip. With this being said, you will not be permitted to join the group until proof of travel insurance has been verified by your tour leader. When selecting a travel insurance policy, please bear in mind that you must have medical coverage, and you must have a minimum coverage of $200,000 USD in case of repatriation and/or emergency rescue. From El Chaltén, you'll continue to El Calafate, a charming town in Argentina. Take a tour of Perito Moreno Glacier, stroll through the shops, and dine on delicious Argentine cuisine!
Say "hasta pronto" to Argentina as you make your way to Puerto Natales, Chile! Spend a night here and rest up as you prepare for your trek in Torres del Paine National Park! During the trek, you'll spend two nights at a campsite within the national park. Spend your days with expert guides as you discover the beauty of the mountains and glaciers!
When your trek has been completed, you'll return to Puerto Natales for a night before traveling to Ushuaia! A lively seaside town, Ushuaia is known as the southernmost city in the world. Spend a few nights here, perhaps with more hikes in Tierra del Fuego National Park! Stroll through shops and find the perfect souvenirs to bring home with you.

Day 1. Welcome to Buenos Aires!
Make your way to your hotel, check in, and get settled! Tonight, you'll meet your group leader and fellow travelers at an evening welcome meeting!
Check-in - Hotel Regente
Hotel Regente is located in central Buenos Aires. Guests can expect comfortable rooms furnished with free WiFi, air-conditioning, complimentary toiletries, television, and more. Restaurant La Cascada and Bakery is open for breakfast and lunch. Guests can expect a comfortable and pleasant stay at Hotel Regente.
Day 2. Buenos Aires - El Chaltén
Today, you'll fly to El Calafate! Upon arrival, board a coach to travel to El Chaltén and Los Glaciares National Park. Take in the sights as you pass through the Andes Mountains. Upon arrival, you'll have time to explore independently.
A Tip For Your Trip: Luggage restrictions for all Aerolineas Argentinas flights are 33 pounds for checked bags and 11 pounds for carry-ons. No organic food is allowed as Patagonia is a protected area. Bags will be checked upon arrival in El Calafate.

Day 3. El Chaltén
Today, you'll enjoy a full-day guided hike to Laguna de los Tres in Los Glaciares National Park! You'll love the changes in the landscape as you go. Take in the incredible views of the Fitz Roy peaks!
Day 4. El Chaltén - El Calafate
Spend a free morning in El Chaltén before traveling to El Calafate! Become acquainted with this charming town tonight as you find a great restaurant for dinner.

Day 5. El Calafate
Today, your group leader will guide you on a tour of Perito Moreno Glacier! Visit the glacier up close and enjoy another amazing day of spectacular views and nature!
Day 6. El Calafate - Puerto Natales
A border crossing between Argentina and Chile is on the schedule! Travel by bus to Puerto Natales, where you'll rest up before the next few days of trekking! This Chilean town is full of great restaurants and shops, giving you a great opportunity to grab any last-minute supplies before your trek.Â
A Tip For Your Trip: You'll be able to store belongings you don't need for the hike and sleeping bags will be provided. You can also rent hiking equipment like poles and rain gear in town.

Day 7. Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine
Today is the first day of your Torres del Paine National Park trek! You'll trek to the base of Las Torres for views of the three towers and the amazing turquoise lagoon below!
Tonight you will sleep at a modest campsite within the National Park.
A Tip For Your Trip: All other camping equipment for the Torres del Paine trek is provided and included in the cost of your trip. You will be required to carry only what you need for the day in your day pack. Any luggage not required for the hike will be left at the hotel in Puerto Natales.

Day 8. Torres del Paine
Cross Lake Pehoe by ferry, where you'll trek to the French Valley. From the lookout point, you'll be able to see the mountains spread out across the entire national park. The landscape will be filled with grays and greens and amazing scenery.Â
Don't forget - the best clothing for trekking is either wool or synthetic materials in layers, as this is quick-drying and can keep heat in better. We suggest a base-layer, then a mid-layer such as a light fleece jacket or similar, then a windproof and waterproof layer.
Tonight, you will sleep at a bucolic campsite within the National Park.
A Tip For Your Trip: Travel time for the ferry will vary based on the weather. Be sure to bring some medication if you're prone to seasickness!

Day 9. Torres del Paine - Puerto Natales
On the final day of your trek, you'll hike to Grey Lake. Find the lookout point to see Grey Glacier off in the distance! Soak up the sights before heading back to Puerto Natales in the afternoon.

Day 10. Puerto Natales - Ushuaia
Get ready for a journey today! Hop a bus to the Magellan Strait for an approximately 30-minute ferry ride across the water. Once you reach Tierra del Fuego, you'll re-board a local bus. It'll be a long ride across the border, so be sure to stock up on snacks and get comfy! Once you're a few hours into Argentina, you'll leave the bus and finish the day's travel by van. Whew!

Today is another free day for you to explore Ushuaia! Consider treating yourself to a cruise on the Beagle Channel to see penguins and seals! Spend the day as you please.
Day 13. Ushuaia - Buenos Aires
Fly to Buenos Aires, where you'll enjoy the final night of your trip! Cram in any last sightseeing and shopping before you indulge in Argentine cuisine to celebrate the end of your trip!
