Package Overview

Your 7-night wine adventure begins with a flight into Ljubljana and a transfer to Lake Bled! Stop along the way to visit the Apian Museum. Visit Bled Castle and take a Plenta boat ride, and then tour the WWI Museum. Continue on to Goriska Brda, a serene setting amidst the vineyards. You'll go on a sightseeing tour in Gonjace and visit Dobrovo Castle! Stay overnight in Portoroz before taking a tour of the resort city of Piran, complete with a visit to Vina Koper wine cellar!

Then, head to Lipica Stud Farm to see the famous Lipica white horses, followed by a wine tasting in Teran! Spend a few nights in Maribor, situated along the Drava River. Take a sightseeing tour of the city and visit Vinag Wine Cellar for a tasting. Visit Ptuj, Old Town Castle, Rogaska Crystal Factory, and Olimje Monastery. Then, return to Ljubljana for the final night of your trip! Take a private walking tour of the city, and celebrate the end of a whirlwind trip!

Day 1. Welcome to Ljubljana!

Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Lake Bled. Check in, freshen up, and take a stroll through the neighborhood! This evening, you'll be transferred to Radovljica to visit the Apian Museum! The museum takes a closer look at the tradition of beekeeping. You'll have the opportunity to observe a live beehive in action! Then, dine on a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Tonight, travel to the Goriska Brda region for dinner and a wine tasting at a typical farm!

Day 3. Goriska Brda - Portoroz

Your day starts with a tour of the hilly Goriska Brda region. Stop in Gonjače and climb up a tower for panoramic views of the Slovenian Tuscany hills. Then, visit Smartno village and Dobrovo Castle.

In the afternoon, visit the Goriska Brda wine cellar and sip local wines! Visit a local farm and dine on lunch. Arrive in Portoroz in the afternoon for your overnight.

Day 4. Portoroz - Karst - Maribor

Today, take a sightseeing tour of Piran and Koper, where you'll visit the Vina Koper wine cellar! Sample the famous refosco wines here. Then, continue on to Lipica stud farm to see the Lipica white horses. 

Enjoy another wine tasting at one of the best Teran wine producers near Dutovlje.

Arrive in Maribor and dine tonight in a local restaurant.

Day 6. Maribor - Rogaska Slatina

In the morning, drive through Bizeljsko vineyards to Novo Mesto towards Rogaška Slatina, where you will visit Rogaska crystal factory. You'll then head to the Olimje monastery – one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe. Once your tour of the monastery has ended, you will continue on to a local repnica, which is a local wine and harvest cellar unique to the Bizeljsko region.

Enjoy a tour of the Istenic champagne cellar before heading back to your hotel. Tonight, indulge in a traditional dinner with some musical entertainment.
