Day 1. Welcome to Boston!
Upon arrival in Boston, make your way to your first hotel. Your tour director will be on-hand late this afternoon to answer any questions.
Check-in - Holiday Inn Express Boston Quincy
This stylish Holiday Inn Hotel is about 7 miles from Downtown Boston, about a mile from Wollaston Beach, and a short walk to the North Quincy subway station, making it easy to get around. The hotel is also less than two miles from Adams National Historical Park, if you're looking for some time in nature. Logan Airport is the closest airport, being about 6 miles from the hotel.
With an on-site restaurant, fitness center, and bar, the Holiday Inn Hotel offers everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Each room is equipped with WiFi, a flat-screen TV, private bathroom, and air conditioning.
Day 2. Boston - Bar Harbor
This morning, enjoy a pretty drive north into Maine, where you will make a pit stop in the historic Maritime city of Portland. Enjoy an included city sightseeing tour and take in the charm of the coastal region, from lighthouses to local lobster fishermen. Stroll the cobblestone streets of Portland's famous Old Port waterfront, lined with working fishing wharves and converted warehouses with restaurants and shops.Â
Hop back in the coach and continue northeast via Bangor to Bar Harbor, a popular seaside resort area and gateway to Acadia National Park. This evening, treat yourself to steamed mussels and buttery Maine lobster!
Check-in - Acadia Inn
Acadia Inn is located on four acres of land next to Acadia National Park and is just minutes from Bar Harbor village. The hotel has a warm, inviting decor and provides a comfortable accommodation. Day 3. Bar Harbor

Drive through the park, passing Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the Atlantic Coast, and see some of New England's most spectacular scenery.
In the afternoon, explore the quaint village of Bar Harbor on your own. Hit a local micro-brewery, visit an art gallery, or do some souvenir shopping at a cute boutique.Â
Day 4. Bar Harbor - Sunday River
Discover the off-beaten paths of inland Maine, meandering through unspoiled farmlands, blueberry barrens, and woodlands renowned for their vibrant hues in autumn. Take a break to relish in the warm hospitality of Farmington, a town founded by American Revolution veterans
Tonight, enjoy a peaceful evening in this spectacular New England mountain location.
Check-in - Sunday River Resort
Sunday River Resort is home to the Grand Summit Hotel, Jordan Hotel, and other lodging options. Day 5. Sunday River - Burlington
As you embark on a journey along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, you'll be welcomed by picturesque views of New Hampshire's tranquil rivers that resemble postcard-perfect scenery. This renowned route is a popular destination during fall, for its spectacular leaf-viewing experience. Known locally as the "Kanc," this byway remains untainted by any residential or commercial establishments throughout its entire stretch.
A drive through the White Mountain National Forest will lead you to Franconia Notch. While in Montpelier, you'll visit Vermont's oldest sugarhouse, before concluding your day in Burlington, the largest city in Vermont that is situated on the scenic shores of Lake Champlain.

Day 7. Brattleboro - Hyannis
Today, take a scenic drive through Massachusetts to reach Plymouth, the historic landing site of the Mayflower Pilgrims in 1620. Here, you can catch a glimpse of Plymouth Rock, a significant landmark. Continue your journey by crossing the Cape Cod Canal, which happens to be the world's widest sea-level canal, en route to the charming town of Hyannis located on the Cape Cod peninsula.
Hyannis has earned the international title of the "All-American City" and is famous for its John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum, a plethora of award-winning restaurants, and delightful storefronts that add to its quaint charm.

Day 9. Depart Boston
Depart Hyannis and head to Boston! A short morning tour of Boston's historical sites and most prominent landmarks will include Boston Common, the Old State House, Old North Church, Faneuil Hall and more! Then, you will make your way to Logan International Airport for your flight home. Spend your flight home replaying wonderful memories and dreaming about your next adventure!Â
