Jardins du Trocadéro

Located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, this park is a postcard-worthy spectacle. Sandwiched between the Palais de Chaillot, the Seine, and yes - the Eiffel Tower - a picnic here will make you feel like you're starring in a Parisian film. Snag a perfect spot by the fountain, cut some fromage, and clink glasses to an unforgettable adventure.

Champ de Mars

Nestled at the base of the Eiffel Tower, this huge park is - hands down - the most iconic picnic spot in all of Paris. Uncork a bottle of Bordeaux and break off a piece of baguette as you watch a once-in-a-lifetime sunset over Paris' most iconic site. As the afternoon goes on, you'll see the lawn begin to fill up with local families, couples, and groups of friends.

Be sure to stay until dark, so you can witness the Eiffel Tower as it bursts into a twinkling lightshow against the night sky. A picnic on the Champ de Mars is the Paris you've always dreamed of.

Place des Vosges

Did you know the Place des Vosges is the oldest planned square in Paris? Built by Henri IV in 1612, this tree-lined square surrounded by shops, restaurants and residences has been a local favorite for centuries. After your picnic, visit No.6, where Victor Hugo lived from 1832 to 1848.

Sacré-Coeur

While we do not recommend picnicking inside this beautiful 19th-century basilica, outside is fair game. The vibrant green hill leading up to this Montmartre landmark is constantly filled with locals and tourists. After visiting this spectacular church, grab some lunch to-go and eat al fresco while you take in unbelievable views of Paris.

Located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, the Jardin du Luxembourg is the perfect place for a peaceful afternoon. Visit the Musée du Luxembourg, nestled right beside the gardens, then enjoy lunch as you admire the architecture of the museum in the flower-filled, well-manicured lawns of Luxembourg.

Parc des Buttes Chaumont

If you head up to northern Paris, an afternoon in the Parc des Buttes Chaumont is a must. Picture this: rolling greenery, gorgeous views, a sparkling lake, a tranquil waterfall, and an old stone temple. Tuileries Garden

Ah, a Parisian classic. This public garden, nestled on the Seine between the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde, is a lovely landscape for a proper picnic. Created by Catherine de'Medici in 1564, the Tuileries Garden is packed with history and beauty. Entering the garden, you'll become surrounded by kerry green grass, vibrant flowers, amazing architecture, and stone sculptures. You'll also have views of the Grande Roue de Paris - the Paris Ferris Wheel!
