8 Fantastic Things to do in Athens this December

AthensCon is an event every comic book and collectible lover should attend! November 30-December 1, get dressed up. You can hear interviews with writers, actors, and comic artists.

6. The Christmas Factory

Through December, meet Santa Claus at the Christmas Factory at Technopolis. This festival annual event gives little ones the chance to explore Santa’s toy factory. There is enough to plan a whole afternoon around, including a Ferris Wheel, an ice-skating rink, and a Magic School.

7. Visit Athens Central Market

If the weather is too cold to be outdoors, explore this amazing food indoor market! Located in the heart of Athens, this market has authentic Greek street food, along with fresh meat and fish. This huge market is open Monday-Saturday through December.

8. Archaic Color at the Acropolis Museum

Through December 31, discover this cool exhibit about archaic color. The exhibit focuses on ancient themes portrayed by different colors in ancient Greek Artifacts.
